40 years ago, Mr. George Mifsud was a young and ambitious man raised in the islands of Malta, son of a butcher, but his passion for art made him follow a craftsmanship education overseas and thanks to his keen eye, and a stubbornness to learn, he returned to Malta and founded his first business activity in Mosta.
He starting by importing silver plated products, making his own handmade porcelain creations and then specialising in crystal glass cuttings, with a company who only had 4 specialists at the time. He ventured into these specialist crafts and went to international fairs all over Europe making quite a name for himself, but Malta had a very limited Market back then, and realised he had to innovate himself to grow.
He loved art and did most of the work himself, his experience and passion took him into a more artistic path, and by being more focused on upcoming trends, he found something that inspired him and set him off on a whole new business venture; Framing, and the niche market of interior design and it is then that he realised what his business was meant to be.
